HWA Rebuild Kerala: Support for sanitation project

Mangalassery colony in Calicut district(Kerala) is facing serious issues in regard to drinking water and sanitation , as an after-effect of the deadly floods that hit kerala few months back . Around 15 families are residing in the colony currently. Unfortunately as the soil became loose in texture after the floods , the wells and the septic tanks got merged in, making these unfit for use.

During our post-flood surveys, HWA came to know this pathetic situation of the colony and decided to assist with an appropriate solution . With expertise advice, Fibre septic tank system was found to be the best feasible solution for the issue.

Each Fibre Septic tank costs around ₹30,000 and HWA is supporting 8 deserving families in the colony. We are glad to inform you that out of the total required amount of ₹2.4 lakhs , an initial amount of ₹ 1.2 lakhs has been already paid and the work has been already started.

Thank you all for the kind support you have extended during flood relief activities and we are currently in the long journey of rebuilding the flood affected lives. May the Lord Almighty accept the kindness of all the donors and bless us in the mission.
